Fukushima Now Level 7 Crysis

Japan's nuclear regulators have raised the severity of  the Fukushima  nuclear disaster from level 5 to level 7. This makes it equal to the Chernobyl event in the former Soviet Union based on the amount of nuclear material being expelled.

A 7 is the highest level of nuclear disaster and is defined as a major release of radioactive material with widespread health and environmental effects requiring implementation of planned and extended countermeasures.
